Spring Plant-a-Pot Series

( Ricki) Come have fun in the dirt! Using spring annuals fill a planter of your choice with early color for an outdoor table or doorstep. Bring an empty pot (you can carry) or purchase one from our shop.  Great combo ideas will be shown and you pay for plants & soil.

What’s Hot in the Garden

(Bill)…Join perennial expert, Bill Malouche of Walter’s Gardens as he presents this year’s exciting new perennials and small shrubs to add interest to your garden. Shrubs with interesting foliage and perennials that perform in our Midwest region will be featured during this inspiring lecture that will kick off the gardening season.

Songbird Pocket Wreath Workshop

Behind the Scenes Spring Workshop

(Susi)…Come divide and conquer with Susi.  This outdoor class includes spring pruning, planting techniques and dividing perennials. Class will include divisions you can take home to plant in your garden.

Inviting Circle Wreath Workshop

(Ricki)… This popular workshop will guide you in creating either a shady impatiens and ivy wreath or a sunny kitchen herb wreath.  These living wreaths will be conversational centerpieces on any door, gate, or patio table.

Behind the Scenes Summer Workshop

(Susi)…This garden class will focus on skills to keep your garden in high summer color.  Susi will discuss deadheading, cutting back, summer watering and important plant staking.  Join us in the garden for hands-on instruction.

(Susi)…To prune or not to prune….always the question.  From evergreen hedges to small trees and shrubs, join Susi and learn the how, when, and where to prune.  A sharpening demonstration will be included…a must for the do-it-yourself gardener.
